Brain Spotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, body-based therapy that helps process trauma, stress, and emotional pain at a deep level. It works by using the connection between where you look and how you feel, allowing us to access areas of the brain where difficult experiences may be stored.
While it may sound unfamiliar—or even a little intimidating—Brainspotting is actually a calm, client-led process. You don’t have to retell every detail of your story. Instead, we move at your pace, creating a space where your mind and body can safely begin to release what’s been held.

What to Expect
Sessions are quiet, focused, and grounded in safety. Together, we identify a “brainspot”—a point in your visual field connected to a specific emotional experience. From there, your brain and body do the work of processing, while I support and guide you throughout.
You remain in control at all times, and we check in regularly to ensure you feel comfortable and supported.

As a trauma-focused therapist, I approach Brainspotting with deep respect for your experiences and your nervous system. There is no pressure to go faster than you’re ready for. Healing happens in its own time—and you don’t have to do it alone.
